About BDF
Barwaaqo Development Foundation (BDF) is a nonprofit Organization that is based in Jigjiga and it is registered at the Authority For Civil Society Organization of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.
Our Mission
To educate, empower and improve the living condition of the community members so as to access their basic rights of education, health, clean Water and food. Undoubtedly our main mission is to help change people's lives for the better, for the future.
Our Vission
Barwaaqo Development Foundation (BDF) main vision is to alleviate poverty, promote human rights, access to healthcare, education, water, improve food security and improve welfare of the underprivileged.
Goals of Barwaaqo Development Foundation (BDF) :
- To empower the Community members to break the cycle of poverty through self-help projects’
- To educate and help people to realize their human rights and to assist those responsible for upholding such rights in ensuring that they are implemented;
- To provide skills training to Health workers, improve health centers conditions and provide the medical equipment and medicines needed;
- To improve lives by empowering people with access to life’s most basic necessities: safe water and sanitation
IMPLEMENTATIONS
- Gathering the related source and information;
- Consulting with the public and experts that deals with the related programs;
- Establishing ad-hoc committee’s and representatives of all levels;
- Conducting workshops and trainings for the concern members of the public;
- The utilizations of the concerned donor and operation Organization;
Our Guidelines
The fundamental guidance of the BDF is the National Constitution of the country and its regulations and as well as the sacrifices, responsibility and dedication towards fulfilling the goals of the Foundation.
